Had one of the better days I've had at strawberry. First off just for those looking for slush reports there is absolutely no slush. Everything is refrozen into 10-12 inches of solid ice with maybe an inch of snow on top. Perfect day today. First fish came before I could even get the tent set up. Nice healthy strong 20" cut that really took the jig. Actually bent the hook and I made the mistake of not changing it so my next four hookups came off before the hole. Still nice to have the bites though. Ended up landing 3 nice looking cuts and 1 18" bow. Had 6 or 7 hookups total that came off in the three hours I was there. Overall good outing solid ice so the ice season is still far from over!
