I read on one post that snowmobiles were working fine on Strawberry. Any recent reports on getting around with 4 wheelers would be appreciated.

Was there yesterday and every thing was qute firm.. I don't think you'd have much of a problem. The ice is holding up great. We had to keep clearing our holes out in the afternoon.

I see Dubob posted that they didn't make the trip up this morning, sorry for the bad info.

It was perfect conditions for a 4 wheeler last Saturday. All the snow was blown off, no crust, and we had no problems driving several miles across the lake on the Soldier Creek side.
But if it were me I wouldn't trust any reports more than a day or two old, unless the weather has been exceptionally cold and no snow there.

You never know for sure, but in my experience, it has been in the upper 40's and 50's here in Salt Lake and 6 degrees' at Strawberry with a high in the upper 20's and lower 30's every time I have made the trip this time of year. The valley temps mean nothing up there.
