We have been fishing Nickajack all week and over the last 2 days noticed that some sorry, low life retarded sons of a lot of other things I can't say over this forum have taken it upon themselves to proceed to cut 10 trees down on Brendaline row most notably the signature dogwood that was the most beautiful dogwood on the lot that has been there since my childhood. The siginficance of this tree and others that were cut has been a lasting memorial to me and others who fish the row for all of our lives and now it has been destroyed by thugs. All of this happened at times of the day or night when we were at a different part of the lake so I have yet to see who the culprit is. The first day they left them hanging in the water and the next day at some point when no one was around they drug them out from the bank and sank them. I know this because they idiots left the top branches sticking out of the water. Not only this but they are ruining fishing spots where we catch crappie because the crappie like to get under the trees when their spawning and they like the trees standing on the bank not in the way down in the water. So I've got news for you sorry individuals and I hope you are reading this because I am here to inform you that you do not have the right to chop down trees on TVA property and and drag them around the lake and if I ever catch any of you out there again, and I will catch you, I will have TWRA on you faster than you can cry for your mama and you are going to be in for a world full of hurt just like you have hurt the rest of us who have enjoyed fishing those trees for all of our lives.

Now for the report. There was an early morning bite but it was short and sweet. Then it was painfully slow until around 3 pm and the bite picked up for the rest of the day and we whacked em pretty good. We caught a lot of short fish today but had some really nice keepers in the mix with 3 being TARPs. Fish were more scattered today and most had moved out a bit deeper from the shallows where they had been earlier in the week. We ended up with 23 keepers. Tennessee shad was the ticket.
