Just in the last 24 hours it went from about 30 feet of open water in Lucerne to being open all the way across to the opening of Red Canyon, this literally has me jumping out of my seat http://www.flaminggorgewebcams.com/webcams/lucernemarina1

There was an ice flow in the middle of Linwood Bay, but open at Lucerne and in front of swim beach. I didn't drive to where I could see up to the pipeline, but there is certainly a lot of open water around Lucerne Bay.
I spoke to a UPS driver who came to manila from Dutch John who said there was still ice in SheepCreek except around where the river enters the bay.

Next week Jerry and his staff will put the docks back in the water at Lucerne Marina, but the ramp is open and fishing has begun. The consensus is that the rainbows will show up close to shore in a week or 10 days. Life is good. Tarpon Jim might provide more info as to conditions.
