MY GOSH IT WAS COLD TODAY!!!! Well at least it was cold compared to a few days ago when we were in shorts and t-shirts. I guess we were just spoiled during that time and now we got to adapt again. It was "extremely" windy today and the bite was slower because of the cold wind. "BUT", there's that word again, we still put a few quality fish in the boat and missed several like usual. Today we got fish on Scroungers, Swimbaits, and Choo Choo Lures Swimjigs around shallow primrose and lily pad stems in pockets that were out of the "WIND". When we found these pockets and the sun was warming these areas up a little more the fish seemed a little more aggressive, then of course we were also a little more aggressive with the sun warming us up instead of the wind cutting us into! Get out and have fun. Mike Carter
