It's coming up fast! I ice fished it in December and there was about 6 feet of the old dam exposed above the ice... I had the boat out the first day of Ice off (March 18) and the old dam was totally submerged but water was still pretty low. I went back a week later and the lake had risen another 6 feet, then 4 days after that another 5 feet! I am headed out tomorrow afternoon, I bet after this storm we are already above last years high water mark, it was getting close last week!

The reservoir is four feet lower than it was this time last year but the snowpack is much better than the last few years. It has 37' to go to reach the full mark.
It looks like it's been four years since the reservoir was full. It sure would be nice to see it fill up.[]

Last time I checked, it's on google maps if you click on satellite view. Check it out, its pretty cool. It looks like an old mid-evil castle wall... Hard to tell the height distance, but My guess is that the new dam is 40-50 feet higher than the old one.

We hit it on Friday and had a pretty good day. Landed 18 or so, most were of the dink verity though... Did manage a few that were close to 20" that made it to the grill for dinner! Didn't seem to matter what we were trolling, they liked it all. F-5 Rapalas, Shad Raps, Squid + dodger, etc.
The bigger fish were caught on the bottom with a small tube jig in 20-30 FOW. Was slower fishing like that though. Overall, the bite was good, Good Luck!

Question on tube jig, if would like to share, size and color, and if not I can experiment, but thanks for a piece of puzzle.

Just little white 1.5"-2" tubes. I think I was using 1/8 oz weighted hooks. I would have liked to try other colors but the wind picked up a little and the kids got bored so we resulted in trolling most the day. I would like to go back sometime soon and just concentrate on jigging all morning. I have caught a few nice browns in the past that way too!

Honestly, I don't troll clear down to the other end... but my buddy told me the base of the rock was touching water a couple weeks ago, so I'm sure the base of the rock is a couple feet under by now.
