I'm going to be in salmon for about a week and a half for work from April 18 - 27 and was hoping to get a little help on what's biting, and maybe a few tips if anybody has a sec. Thanks in advance! Also maybe a few must sees or do's in the area?

Oh boy! I was that guy a couple weeks ago [] conditions change, weather-clouds-sun- pressure-water flows-cold fronts-acces to water, etc. Good luck bud. Hopefully someone chimes in from that are and can help you out.

If nothing else try the Lemhi hole in town. Steelhead are past but I've caught a couple bull trout there and lots of suckers. A drive up to north fork and maybe Shoup could be fun. Pretty area with good chance of seeing bighorn sheep on the road. As for in town I'd recommend Bertrums (sp?) on main st. It's a micro brew place with some excellent burgers. Beyond that there's plenty of historical stuff around the area.
