Got to the lake around 830 and started dragging buggers right off the bat. Within 15 minutes I had a nice tug and landed one small planter on a green and black bugger. The rest of the day was pretty rough.
I did see some people catching fish with small black chironomids about 10 feet down, but I must have had the wrong pattern on or not at the right depth. I didnt catch a fish again until 3 pm, so it was pretty slow. Looking forward to heading back next weekend to try again.
