Great friend of mine (Ethan) has been on me about taking him and his coworker (Chad from Michigan) catfishing. They both work on the Railroad and are out of town constantly and it seems we can never get together. Finally had our chance and it turned out awesome! The bite was really slow with no current running, but did manage to catch around a dozen eating size cats in the 5 - 8 pound range, 2 cats around 15 pounds, one at 25 pounds and then this giant of a fish that Ethan's son Caleb wrestled in all by himself! just guessing around 60 pounds since it bottomed out my 50# scales. This was also the very first fish we caught that morning, so what a way to start the day! Fished hard till 1:00 and then packed it up. What a blessed day to be on the water with good friends and monster blues! All fish caught using cut Skipjack on my new Denali Bottom Feeder Rods. These rods are awesome!
