SOMEONE OUT THERE KNOWS THE FORMULA FOR FINDING OUT THE APPROX. WEIGHT OF A FISH GIVEN THE LENGTH AND GIRTH. <br><br>

Shaka,Dpends on what fish ya wanna dew...i no da BASS formula rite off my head,it`s length x length x girth divided by 1200=weight....here i clicked 2 my source da others R..........<br>Walleye......length x length x length divided by 2700= weight...<br>Trout....length x girth x girth divided by 800= weight................<br>Pike....length x length x length divided by 3500= weight...........<br>hope it twas 1 of these U were loookin 4.........Bsafe!....C-Ya!...<br><br>
THANKS CHRISP I WAS LOOKING FOR THE BASS FORMULA. 23.5X23.5X17=9388.25/1200.=7.82LBS. NOT BAD FOR A COUPLE HOURS OF FISHING. I HAVENT TOPPED MY BIGGEST BASS YET, BUT I'M STILL TRYING.<br><br>

This thred just shows how every one helps each other. Thanks SHAKA for the request of info. and Thank you davetclown and ChrisP for the help with your replys. <br>Chris and SHAKA I will be out there trying to catch up with you anglers on size this year. davetclown what was the largest in your past, (to keep you in line---- I'm talking about Bass size). The best I have landed was only 4 1/2lb. I think I have had bigger on the hook but did not compleat the landing. Live and learn.<br><br>Texas gulf cost fisher.
