Had a nice couple hours the other night on Hyrum caught two and lost two. One was only a little planter and the other was about 17" rainbow which destroyed my rapala did not land any bass water was 54 degrees had a good time state still will not plant lake till June that is what dwr told me the other day but it is nice to go now before the crowds hit the lake which will be soon

Thanks for the report. Have you ever tried bass fishing there? I hear it is pretty good up by the inlet by the flooded brush. If the trout fishing is slow, it can be another option, to catch some fish.

I also hit Hyrum with a friend from our of state. Cait or limits of rainbow from 14 to 17 ". Had a great BBQ. Caught um jus drifting a worm
