After a LONG day sitting through meetings at the public safety summit in saint George, I was ready to unwind!

I took my son and met up with my buddy at sand hollow for a few hours of bass fishing. All I can say is WOW!

In three hours we caught TONS of LMB and some mediocre crappies. I caught one that went 5 pounds and change. Most were around 2-3 pounds. My son caught a bunch, my friend caught a bunch, it was just easy.

We caught most all of them on 4" shad colored gulp minnows rigged on 1/4 ounce jig heads from 12-25 feet of water on the bottom. We just slowly bounced them along the bottom.

Thanks for the report. I need to get back there.l I live in Delta where I'm close enough to make a day trip but also far enough away to where it would be a heck of a drive round trip. I went for the first time last fall. It wasn't great that day, but good enough to want to go back
