Pulled outa our slip in the N. Marina about 5:30 and flew over to Freeway Bay to set up the planer boards and cruised tight along the east dike down to the mouth of S Marina. Nada, nothing on the finder as well.

Turned around and headed out into the openness to see if we could find the fish which we did and got into a few.

Brought home groceries for supper tonight, fish taco's ala Willard Bay... mmm.

Put a new wind sock on boat, if you see us give us a shout.

See ya on the water.

Yeah, For the last couple weeks catching has been slow on the east end! I'm headed back today to a couple waypoints I have found fish on my last few trips...
You have my vote, Wiper Tacos are my families favorite dinner!

Glad you found some willing fish Scott. I got out there the day after you and with the wind blowing strong, we decided to try a drift sock. We picked up 2 wipers and two eyes with that method, trolling Kokanee creek tackle worm harness and lipless cranks. The lipless crank surprised me because I figured we were going too slow but it worked for at least one wiper[crazy].

Thanks, we found this Trophy on KSL a couple years ago. The add had been on for some time with a crappy picture. They said it belonged to their dad that was in bad health and was in storage it's whole life. Hadn't been registered since 2005.

The cuddy cushions still had the factory plastic and the port a potty still had the factory package tucked inside and never used. Only paid $6500.

The merc 175 purrs like a kitty after I replaced the impeller.
We added a kicker and a new humming bird 999.

Hey curt,

You would be surprised how well slow trolling lipless cranks can be. just get them wobbling a little and let them down, they will run much deeper this way. dwon to ten feet. Good tactic for the north dike when the water is up in the rocks using the electric. I have caught all species in Willard doing this but as you know when the water got low the fishing changed with it.
