Want to take my kids out for some fishing. Does anyone know if the crappie in PV have started doing their thing?

I don't know about the crappie spawn, but do see my post about canyon road closing on Saturday.

That's even better!! I come over trappers loop from the south, maybe the canyon being closed will keep some people away.

I fished Pineview last Saturday hoping for some bass or early spawn crappie on the fly rod. Water temp was 58 deg in the main lake and up to 60 in the back of the bays. Could see lots of fish on the fish finder but could not get anything to come out an play. I ended up with a skunk. Water is very high and a lot of vegetation is flooded along the shores.

havent seen them yet, wont be long when they start moving in i will let you know as we know there is an over population of them up there
