<br /> After blastoff we headed down behind the marina where we encountered the first asshole of the day. After fishing 10-15 minutes some idiot in his maroon stratos 285 came waking into the no-wake zone behind the marina and cut us off 10-15 yards in front of us. I made a few comments towards the inbreeders including recommending a good dentist and the use of a toothbrush, then tried to let it go. We caught one fish back there before moving over to the slough beside the cement plant. We worked that slough for a good while and caught 9 fish in there, albeit all short. We finally moved down towards Bennett&#39;s lake where Dusty boated our first keeper, and I boated a monster drum. We caught two more fish there before heading back towards the ramp. We fished around Serodino for a few, catching 3 more fish. As we got back towards the dock, we realized we were an hour early to weigh in. While doing that, dusty boated a spot that barely kept, but gave us a second fish in the livewell. At that point, we headed back out towards the bridge and fished it for the remaining time, catching 5 more fish, including the largest keeper. We did not even think to weigh it at the weigh in, but it may have gone 2.5-2.75 and seemed to be inline with many of the fish weighed in. We then headed back in for the weigh-in. All fish were caught on beaver baits, senkos, and crankbaits. Finished a little under five pounds, which is where that dinky spot killed us.
