First camping trip of the year in the trailer. We hit Soldier Creek. Beautiful, cooler, with occasional rain.
NOTE: Camp ground A and marina has NO WATER! Main line froze and broke. Part was suppose to have been order the first of May but still no show, so, you are to use good ol' Outhouses and no fish cleaning. Camp grounds B and C however have water.
Storm moved in every day which for some reason, works for me.
I caught several doubles. Even one each, Rainbow and cutt.

Very Nice. You have the mojo to catch the big ones. I have not had my kick boat up there yet. Sounds like it is starting to heat up. What was the water temp? You gotta love doubles. That would be a kick at strawberry with fish that size. The big one looks like a bruiser. 24"?

Water temp was 41 degrees. The big one was around 30". The one on the ground was close to 24" the net is 19".

Wow, very nice fish. I went today to the Mud Creek area and got my butt handed to me. I didn't really see anyone catching anything all day. There was a huge chironomid hatch but they didn't like what I was throwing today. I tried every color variation of bugger and tons of midges but no one wanted to get caught today. Better luck next time I suppose. Keep posting those pics to give the rest of us hope []
