I intended to go fish Yellowstone Lake this past weekend but upon doing some reading learned that later this year they will be netting the grayling out of Grebe Lake and then poisoning the rainbow population there. Plans changed and we hiked in to Grebe and caught a ton of 9-12" grayling. There was an awesome drake hatch around noon but most were caught subsurface under an indicator. I love getting off the "beaten path" in Yellowstone where you can fish a body of water all by yourself. Enjoy Grebe Lake if you have an opportunity before the poisoning takes place.
