If you have had the chance to read my other post on the fishing I had this past weekend, I can honestly say it was due to the fact that my partner and I opted to use a more unconventional approach to the walleye than other fishermen were using. Instead of jigs, we used jiggin spoons and tipped them with minnows. We really didn't need the minnows, but we wanted a bigger profile to key on bigger walleye. It worked. I never used them too much in the past, but since this phenomonal success with them, I may opt to go with them a tad mroe often. Any one had any similar success with jigging spoons for walleyes?

keep those lines wet

Daniel C. Nielsen
http://www.nebraskafishing.com/index.html
