Hello all! Trolled this site for a while, figured it was time to join up and try to contribute. Just got a boat, (18' Xpress with a 150 Opti) been trying to get out and hit some spots.
Hit CJ Strike early on Wednesday, before the weather. Marked quite a few fish down deep in the narrows, caught a few perch and a decent bass on cut bait. Caught a bunch of little 4-6" small mouth on a crank bait.
Gonna try to make a trip to SFCR in the coming weeks, maybe an overnighter during the week. Just gotta get some rod holders put on and set up a downrigger.
If y'all see a camo xpress boat out and about (with an ogre tromping around in it) feel free to say hi, point me in the direction of fish, or just sit back, laugh and enjoy the show!! [
