not a good tx for us. i had gone out and found a few fish earlier in the week and felt pretty good about the plan. got to our first spot after about 2 hours Mike puts the first keeper in the boat a 1.52 Spot., around 11:30 mike hollers for the net its a 4.06 SM (soooooo close big SM was 4.30 i think ) we decide to work down a bank for the last bit an i feel a thump on the shakey head. rod loads up and it on....then we see the slime its a nice 10-15 lb blue nice fish wrong species.. we end up with the 2 keepers Mike has and me getting some netting practice in. I couldn't believe how low the water was, im not sure i remember seeing it like this before. Congrats to the winners, we are looking forward to the next one..
