I took out a couple of gentlemen today just for some fun fishing. I had them starting out with using Bull Shad Swimbaits to see if they might gat a "Big-Un", but they only had one good fish to hit and lost it in the grass. They still however were at least able to catch a few solid fish on the Bull Shad before the sun came up. I then had them using Producer Swimbaits and Choo Choo Jigs along some of the deeper grass areas, and with the bite being slower than normal they were still able to put a few solid fish in the boat. The grass has really started to surface and this will make the Flippin n Punchin bite a little more successful. There are several areas now where you can find the mixture of Hydrilla and Millfoil, and this will soon have the Snag Proof Frog bite getting a little more active. Slow day but had a lot of fun and a great time on the water. Get out and enjoy it. Mike Carter
