First report so bare with me. Had a good friend come down from cookeville to fish chick with me this morning. Started around 7 this morning with top water had a few short strikes but no takers. Quickly went deep and tried multiple spots. Everything from Carolina rigs, cranks, shakys, and jigs. Nothing, not a bite deep we tried everything from docks to rocks to grass and bluffs. Finally picked up one barely keeper. I'm sure the hot weather and water played a factor along with no current. Much respect to the guys that can go out and put 15-20 lbs in the boat on days like today!
