Anyone been fishing lately? I just went out on Sunday for the first time in 4 months... Stripers weren't near sand island like last year. Couldn't find any boils anywhere in the wash. Weather wasn't fantastic, so maybe that was it, but anyone know if they are congregating in a specific area now that the wash is getting so shallow and dirty?

Eventually found a small boil in another part of the lake and got 2 fish. My first bite on my yumbrella rig with 2 swimbaits, then lost it on a reef lol. LMB all had lockjaw that day. Got off the water before the white caps got too bad.

I ran into a few over the weekend in the echo bay area. They were small and would only last a minute or two. Once the wind picked up, they were gone.
