Put in about 6 this morning and went to fish some deep grass and ledges and didn't even get a bite there... Decided to go fish some shallow grass before calling it a day and I'm glad I did... Caught 1 short fish that was fun but followed that up with a 7lb bass and then on the next cast got a 5lb bass... Stayed in the area for about 30 more minutes and got another 5 lb bass and a 3 lb bass... All fish was caught in 5 foot of water or less with grass on a worm... Turned out to be a great morning after all....
