Took a short walkabout down at Utah Lake after work today. There were schools of baby carp the size of a pickup truck. All were about an inch long. Made one dip with my baseball cap and caught about 10. Going to be bait size in another month or so.

Sounds like everyone better get some big nets and catch all they can. Maybe this low water will afford the opportunity to actually thin them out.

That's pretty crazy. The evolution of Utah Lake has been interesting to watch but where else do you go to do that?

Thanks for the heads up. I need to get a grundle of carplets for bait.
