It's been a while guys so i thought I'd share my experience from Saturday on Nickajack.

I got out on the water about 545 to find it a little more windy than i wanted (since i was planning on starting out on the main channel in a 17 foot boat). Stuck it out for a moment and caught a fish (and 6 pounds of grass) as soon as my bait hit the water. I decided to seek refuge from the wind in cave lake. I started out on the bank to the left of the cave. Fish number 2: A tiny Bluegill hammered my whopper plopper 90. It looked like I hooked a leaf. This probably made my day. emoLaugh

I moved off the bank and fished around the grass bed. I caught lots of slicks and the decently nice fish attached.

I had a nice day altogether. All my fish were caught shallow in the grass with topwaters and spinnerbaits. We won't discuss what my best 5 would have weighed. emoRolleyes

Have fun guys!
