Put the boat on the water just before 8 AM and fished until until about 10 AM. There weren't too many boats on the lake, and it looked like everyone on the water was fishing. I caught a small one by the rock islands and then proceeded to my favorite area along the rock dam. I was able to land 4 more bass.

A plastic crayfish on a dropshot was the ticket for me today.

For a quick couple hour trip it was fun and I was glad to at least have the chance to get out and catch some bass.

That's quite the bass fishery down there. I imagine myself being sizzling pink after being out there on that water with a tank-top fishing.

Thanks for the report. I haven't been in a few weeks, just been too busy with work and golf tourneys. Low to mid 90's all week with chances of rain, should be really good! Can't wait for the temps to start dropping and REALLY getting those bass feeding again!
