Thought I would go to the Nick and just take a look around since it has been so long since I was down there. The grass is up in force. Lots of shad all over the place but not a lot of bass activity from what I could find. There were some little ones working the grass but not the size needed for a tournament. Struggled finding any size today. Never found a pattern either. My best three were only about 7 to 7.5 lbs. Best one was just 3/2. They were also on three different baits. The 3 came off a Cutthroat jig, and the other two were a spinner bait and a spook. emoScratch Not sure I learned a dang thing other then it is tough right now.
