May be heading out to Mantua on labor day, how is the bass fishing doing right now out there and what has been catching them? Thanks!

Last I heard was that the water was low, the weeds were all the way to the surface, and access was difficult. That was two weeks ago or so.

Edit to add: Just checked the DWR reports for 9/1 and they say the same.

Mantua has been really slow this year. Weeds have taken over.
