[cool][#804000]Decided to give Corona Lake [SARL management] a try today. Was going to bring my tube but heard that it was windy in the canyon. Any how it is a nice lake. $18 + $5 for a float tube. $16 for seniors. $12 for seniors on Wednesday. What I like about this lake is that the shore in nice and sandy unlike Irvine Lake which when low [it is low now] the banks get muddy. Takes an hour to clean up ones tube, waders, booties and fins. Area wise I guess that it is a couple of dozen acres big. The bass weren't biting but the trout were. First one I landed on ultra light tackle was about 16". Nice play on light gear. Next month they will be stocking Steelheads. Got to give that a try. Haven't caught one of those dudes since I lived in WA.[/#804000]
[#804000]Also tried Carbon Caynon regional lake. No tubing or boating. The bass weren't biting here either but there was some little rainbows hitting. Like 12". This lake is on 4 acres in size but a nice setting. See pic.[/#804000]
