Wow! What a disappointment. 
Went from catching 29 lbs plus between Weds (Nick) and Thurs. (Chick) to a huge 5 lb plus on Sat. and Sun. emoRedface That was some kind of change in such a short time. I really think on the Nick side it was current and pressure. I caught most of my fish on Weds with chasing baits. Cranks and jerks, mixed in with a bunch of little ones were a few decent ones for a decent limit. Then on Saturday the decent ones were gone. emoScratch Struggled like most said with a bunch of little spots and a few small LM. Only had three little keepers spots. Also had four cats. It seemed the current was a little less then when I was there and I should have changed patterns but got bull headed and spent the whole morning waiting for the bigger ones to bite but they never did. emoAngry Then my day on Thurs on the Chick I had over 18 lbs with my best five. Four were deep but the six lber I had came out of the grass edge. Should have told me something right there. emoBang Went back Sunday and spent the first four hours deep with only a two and a halfer that would keep. I think my deep bite is gone for the Fall. Had about eight more shorts. At around eleven o'clock we left for the grass but heard the bite there had stopped also. We tucked tail at noon and ran. Bad choices and trying to force feed bass that were not there. Just a stupid all around decision making on our part. emoCrazy Dumb and dumber. Jmax
