When I couldn't launch at Rockport I decided to try Jordanelle. I was able to launch but the fishing was slow.

Because I tried to lauch at Rockport first we didn't get out on Jordanelle until about 8:30. We trolled down the inlet pulling all the usual lures with verry little luck.

We did pick up three fish, each on a different lure.

When we got back to the marina I started chatting with another boat that was fishing in the same area, and said they had a great day pulling 2.5" countdown rapalas. The smaller size seems to be what was triggering the bites. I had on some 4" rapalas and din't catch anything with them

Next time I'm out there I'll give the smaller countdowns a try and see if that;s the trick.

Last time I was out there the flooded brush had thousands of little fishies all over the place. All about 1-1.5" long

I don't think the brush is flooded anymore.

Old trees, stick ups, piles, whatever. Trust me, they are under there. I got some awesome downscan images where they came all the way up to the surface.
