back to fishing
KSL out doors truck was parked by my truck and trailer
when I came back in.
I went alone, lucky they put the dock back in the water.
I was trolling from 8 am to 2 pm.
the fish did not start biting till 9 am then it was fish on
'Two on is Better Than One' and I had 2 on at the same time, 7 times and got most of them in the boat the one on the other line just had to wait.
could not count all the fish I got, but I took about 30 worms and I cut them in half and used some over. I ran out of worms. so that is close to 60 fish.

first I had the two downriggers down 15 feet
then later went in deeper water and put the downriggers down to 19 and 23 feet.

I have a hummbird 360 and it has only been working about 1/3 the time. but was working today and helped me find the fish
in the attachment you can see the fish on the right side I would turn and come back over them.

may go back Thursday.

I was up there yesterday too. Launched my toon (put my boat to bed for the winter) from Renegade. Only fished for a couple of hours, had other things I had to attend to.

Had a 55lb thrust on the slowest speed and pulled white tube jigs tipped with worms. Ended up with 4 and lost a bunch more. BUT I did land one 23inch Rainbow that must have jumped two feet out of the water when first hooked. It was stripping line like crazy. He's back in the water for someone else to enjoy catching.

Think I'm going to go back up Thursday too.

I sure think that 360 sonar sounds like a good trick when they get the bugs worked out on it, however, I sure can't interpret it worth a dang... I thought the lighter areas are the fish, and I can only see a couple on the right side, is that what I'm looking for? Where I'm fishing lately I'm seeing tons of fish banked up, but I can't make them take anything... But then again I'm fishing warm water fish so they may be going into fall shutdown mode... If I only seen a couple fish, I'd never go back for them, unless I wasn't graphing anything... Guess it all depends on the pond and activity levels... Thanks for showing what ya seen that helps me try to figure out how to improve.. Later J

Sounds like you had a better then most. which boat ramp did you launch from, last week at Strawberry Bay there were no docks.

There are no boat docks at Renegade.

Strawberry bay Marina, the dock was in Monday but they may pull it out again.
lets hope they leave it in for two more weeks.

Really strange that they would pull all of the docks and then put one of them back in. The right person must have complained. I wish that they would at least leave one of the docks, on the main ramp, in until at least until the end of November. One winter they left it in all winter. With the frame being made of metal I doubt that the ice damages them, but who knows.
