Fished this week from Wednesday to Saturday. Had a great time. Frog bite was ok lots of blow ups but missed twice as many as we caught. First day I caught our biggest fish of the trip 7.4lbs oz on a frog. Fish seem to be staging on the main points to move in when the water temps fall. We caught a ton of fish from 1-5 lbs everyday on an a-rig and spook at the mouth of the creeks. Most days we had 20-40 on the a rig. I had 4" swim baits on the rig. The smaller swim baits seemed to be better. Most of our fish came from the nuclear plant up to the hawassee river east side of the lake on the big flats. Looking forward to coming down next fall again.
