Sorry, I haven't posted in a very long time. The back is finally healthy enough to get out and wet a line again. Here is my first report since going down and out.
Quick trip to Rockport this last Friday evening for a couple hours with my wife and youngest daughter. Rainbows are healthy and feisty. I had to chase two poles into the water. They liked rainbow garlic gulp and yellow corn pbait. I threw a spinner in between dealing with fish and chasing poles for my ladies. No takers on the hardware, they wanted bait. Great to finally get out again and watch the girls
while reeling in a fish.
Total 7 - Four for the smoker, two escapees at the shore and one smaller released for another day.
Can't wait for the ice!
