Problem you are going to have is that there is no water !! Harbors have less than 18 inches and you will have to walk a ferpiece to get into anything over 2ft. For all intents and purposes, Utah lake will have very little ice fishing this year . The lake froze last week, but the storms afterward blew it off. There is most likely ice now due to the very cold temps, but ????? How far you willing to walk !!

I would avoid UL this year due to low water.

Yesterday there was a little ice all over the south end of the lake. This morning, with the rain it is about gone. A lot of open water and a lot of slush.

I'm not sure about today, but yesterday Provo harbor was frozen over. Not sure how thick the ice was.
