Does cutler ever ice over enough to fish??

Yes cutler does ice over and I have tried ice fishing it at the Newton Bridge before it goes into the Narrows. I didn't have any luck that day but only tried it once. The current was a problem trying to keep the bait below the hole and it causes ice thickness to vary. Probably dangerous around the bridges.

Very unreliable lake for ice fishing success. Too much current and the ice can be dangerous in spots.

Wow I thought I sent you a reply this morning, but I guess it didn't send. I'll concur on the other advice you received so far it ices over early but the current in the deep spots can make the ice very scary and the shallows are hard to fish because of low fish numbers. Good luck if you try. J
