I'm hoping for good things from Pineview this winter. Wouldn't mind pulling an all-nighter or two in the narrows chasing slabs.

Why would they put a curfew on it, did they have some problems last ice fishing season?

It would apply to boaters, and I don't think they adopted a full curfew anyway.

Don't think it was an ice fishing problem . What I remember from the news reports from a tv station was that ther had excessive drinking and noise. They said something about the need for more police presence and there could be a curfew imposed. Thanks s all I know.

Icefishermen do their drinking quietly, and it's hard to look cool blasting Def Leppard while making slow laps around the narrows on the ice, even if you have a sweet snowmobile.

Ok.. Ice at Port Marina is 1.5" as of Wednesday 12/21. It warmed up in the valley the last couple of days slowing the freeze substantially. I'll keep the auger in the truck and check regularly.
