[#000000]"Is the day use fee payment (or pass displayed) required year round at all state parks? This doesn't seem to be discussed anywhere on your website. Some folks that I've talked to seem to think they are not required during the winter months when ice fishing. Please clarify and if there are exceptions, please name any parks that are excepted from the general policy."[/#000000]

[#800000]I got this answer back this morning.[/#800000]

[#800000]Please keep in mind that this applies at State Parks only. Strawberry, Pineview, and several other fishing areas are NOT state Parks and the Federal or Private (Echo) fees apply or are waived in the winter. Also, some water bodies (Porcupine, Causey, Lost Creek, etc.) don't have fees at any time during the year. Also, if you are using a State Park water body (Rockport and East Canyon come to mind) and are outside the campground/launch area, you are STILL liable for the day use fee. Parking at a pull off without the proper fee payment form displayed on the dash of your vehicle can, and very often does, get you a citation if it ain't there.[/#800000]

[/#800000]
[#800000]My advise to all y'all is buy the annual pass and use the heck out of it all year round. It's worth every penny and works at all but 2 or 3 State Parks for day use.[/#800000]
