started the new year off right by FISHING!!! fished a little tournament, didn't do well in the tournament but saw some new water and caught some fish. the current was ripping up<br />there. ran up and started on a wing dam, tried several different baits. started working around in the area up there and caught a decent spot on the V-8, kept working around and caught another keeper spot. ran down the river some and started down some rip rap bank with the v-8 and caught a couple of short smallies and a couple more keeper spots. got up on the rocks and started with a cb and caught several more spots and another short smallie. ran back in a creek looking for something I thought I could catch a better fish on. threw a jb, cb and the V-8 around without love and left. ran back up the river and spent the rest of the day up there milling around. tried drop shotting some fish I had seen but couldn't get and takers. ended up with 8-9lbs but still fun day on new water.<br /><br />took 16+ to win, guys had a 6+ lm and 5+ smallie(beautiful fish!)
