Made it to currant creek this morning. Road was nice and plowed. Got there and had a line in the water at about 5:45 and a nice 16" bow at 5:47. Then set up my flasher to see if there were more fish and instead found the battery was dead. The next fish came about 2 hours later! And it was the only one to follow. Missed two others. Kind of a disappointing trip, first time I've ice fished up there and not exactly the best time to forget to charge the flasher. I've always done really well on open water but not this time on the ice. Anyways 6-8" of ice every where we drilled. Some places had slush but not bad. The fish caught were both on cutter bugs.
