Just looking for any PV info on the ice conditions as of today.

I personally was planning on going to PV this morning and decided not to go because of all the reports of bad edges. Big mistake, I got antsy by noon and hopped in the truck and drove up to PV to see for myself. The edges looked good on most of the lake with about a 3 foot span that looked kinda grey but was still ice. I drove around to cemetery point and there was 3 groups out on the north side and I could see 1 group out off of browning point. The snow on the ice looked melted down pretty good and the tracks walking out looked to be about 8 inches deep. The walking should be pretty good from what I could tell.
Have fun and be careful and I'll just go to work tomorrow.

Dubob reported today that Echo's edges have healed over and are once again safe, so I suspect PV will probably be the same.

[left]I'd still plan on taking a plank, I went out this afternoon, not to PV but I got my feet wet up to my knees before I got onto the ice... If you want to keep your feet in good condition take something to get you across the gap... Later J [/left]
