Thanks for the link, Pat. I may have to alter my fishing locations and tactics a little.

As for the 6 rod rule, I find it hard to use effectively, but I like having more lines in the water. I fish Flaming Gorge a few times a year through the ice and 6 rods seem to allow spreading out and trying different presentations until you get zeroed in. I didn't see anything specific about distance from your 6 rods at the Utah only lakes. At Flaming Gorge you have to be "no more than three hundred (300) yards from all lines", while Utah's regulations state "you must be within sight of the equipment you’re fishing with (this distance cannot exceed 100 feet)".

I'm sure there will be some "trial and error", just hoping I don't go on trial for my errors!
