So everyone that was suppose to go fishing with me this weekend ended up canceling so I had the boat to myself and even though pros were all over chic that's where I decided to fish. Put in at tyner ln both days and put a limit in the boat both days Saturday the crankbait bite was on probably caught about 20 fish from 15in to 3lbs all on squarebills shallow. Sunday was different probably since the water became very stained with all the rain run off and the only way I could get bit was to fish a shakey head painfully slow but it paid off. Caught another limit with a fat 4lber that swallowed the shakey head, btw thank you again to whom ever put that post up about throat hooked fish last year, used my hook puller, lined the hook up and pushed it down into his gut so that the point and barb would lay flat on the tool and pop out it came without a drop of blood. Kept her in the live well for a bit to keep her upright and make sure she was good and let her go. Best 5 sat would have went 12-15lbs best 5 sunday went about 18. A good weekend of fishing considering all the pressure put on the fish with the flw guys all over em.
