Chesterfield in July - Tazasorus - 07-05-2017

So no big monsters landed. I got there at 5 in morning and trolled till 1. Landed 18 fish 16 to 18 inches. Lots of salad floating on surface. Every 5 minutes or so had to reel in and clean off. 2nd fish I hooked was a hog though, launched three feet in the air and busted a new 12 pound leader in half. That will leave me dreaming for a while. Still plenty of water, 68 degrees though. Would bring all fish along boat and keeping in water release. They tire quicker in that warm water. Had a treble pop loose and bury past barb all the way till it began to curve into and of pointer finger. Couldn't push hook through so had to pull out. 🤣 happy fishing everybody
