Dropshot, CFF #8, Bass, 7/14/2017, Copyman - FishNews - 07-20-2017
We started with a plan to fish some promising new water we found a week or so ago. Went to first spot and within a few minutes had our first keeper. Moved around all evening to avoid the rain and ended up with a limit around 10pm. Culled a few, but stuck with the same problem we seem to have had all summer of plenty of 13/14/15 inch fish, but not able to find the kicker you need in a 3 fish tournament. Caught probably 25 fish on worms, jigs, and topwater. Stayed fairly dry except for a light rain around 11pm. Thanks to all who came out and congrats to the winners.
