Salmon dam today 8/29 - idaagman - 08-30-2017
My friend and I caught 25 fish today. All but 3 were released to grow more. We were bottom bouncing in 15 to 20 ft of water in the back waters of Salmon Falls Reservoir. Water had a lot of algae which made trolling fun. 19 were walleyes from 5 to 17 inches. 6 were perch many over 6 inches. Nice to see the perch numbers this year.

Thanks for the report. My son and I are going to grab grandpa and try to find some walleyes at Salmon Falls this Saturday.

The algae is really bad at Salmon Falls. Managed to find some fish but spent a lot of time pulling slime off our gear. Caught my first golden trout which was pretty cool!
