fischnrod, chick, lm, 10/15/17, Levi - FishNews - 10-25-2017 I fished with a Veteran yesterday in the Fishing with a Soldier tournament, We started out on a small weed line close to blast off cause I really didn't want to run the river early we caught 2 short fish there on top and then started running points since the wind was blowing pretty good I thought that might be a pattern but that wasn't working . I really was not on any fish or pattern after a week of scouting so we just went junk fishing for singles and stayed with that all day picking up a keeper here and there, it's tough right now to say the least but we were blessed to scratch out 4 keeper fish to take to the scales for a weight of 8lbs and some ounces for a 3rd place finish and I had a great day on the lake with a young Veteran.<br /><br />I believe we threw the tackle box and our fish came on a crank bait , a worm , and jig
