Is there any parking allowed on the South dike at Mantua ?

no just the lot unless you want to contribute to the town party fund
also make sure all you car tags are currant ,mud flaps not too long, head lights not to dirty and aimed properly, and no missing mattress tags on your bed at home other than those thing you will probably be ok . and receive just 1 or two tickets

Are you sure it’s not legal?

There is a “no parking” zone clearly marked with signs. Just park outside of that. I’ve had multiple interactions with the police Mantua, all of which were positive.

Indeed, those parked on the dike in the SE between the 'No Parking' signs were getting tickets this morning when we arrived. Grandkids said, "Can't they read? It is such a short distance between signs, why do they need to park there?" Everyone else parked along the dike and outside the signs was not ticketed.
