Anybody trolling at deer creek, I’ve seen people catching trout from the shore but I want to break out the boat and since the weather is so warm I thought it might be good... Just wondering I’m new to Utah and still trying to figure things out.

I was there a few weeks ago the fish I got were down 15 to 25 feet
most of the rainbows were 14" they did not have a lot of fight in them.
I keep may speed under 1.5 mph but that was because of the kind of lures I was using. If you can find the fish you can do pretty good.

I was there trolling this last Sunday from noon to 4. Action was slow and the bite was light - just barely hooking them by their lip. Water was 37F.

Perch Rapala, needlefish w/ worm. Caught them about 10 feet down. If I were to go again, I think something with a slower presentation or would be better.
